OK, so you’ve probably never heard of “The Reunion Profile” style of long-form improvisation before. It’s actually something I came up with while going through some old memorabilia I had lying around recently. For the Nashville Improv & Comedy Meetup’s February long-form event, the idea is this: we’re going to take some slightly oddball profiles posted online for high school reunions (names withheld to protect the innocent!) and deconstruct them to get at the heart of what makes these people tick. It’ll feel similar to an Armando-style monologue long-form, though with me reading reunion profiles to inspire our improv, rather than a true story told via monologue. It should be a blast, and there’s still room to RSVP to this latest event of the Nashville Improv & Comedy Meetup now!
